For a Hero.

The Black Dog, along with the entire Cape Cod community, is saddened by the events of April 12, 2018 on which Yarmouth Police Sergeant Sean Gannon lost his life in the line of duty.  His K-9 partner Nero was also shot and his ongoing recovery continues to inspire us.

Shortly after this devastating loss to the community, we launched our "Blue Collar Nero" t-shirt, donating 100% of the proceeds to the Cape Cod Police K-9 Relief Fund and the Officer Sean Gannon Memorial Fund.

The response was overwhelming and the first run of tees sold out within a few hours.  We received many calls and messages from people who wanted to purchase a shirt in a show of support, but had missed out. Thanks to the hard work of our longtime partner, Kaleidoscope Imprints of Yarmouth, MA, we were able to quickly turnaround the second run of tees, which also sold out within two hours.

We've seen orders come in from all over the country and we couldn't have been more proud when we were able to deliver our first donation checks.

Our hope is to continue to support this cause and we are working closely with the Police Department, the Cape Cod Police K-9 Relief Fund, and the family of Sergeant Gannon on how to best to do so. Please continue to follow this page as well as our social media pages as we work on the details of our future plans.

Thank you again for your support,

The Black Dog
