The Black Dog Doggie Adoption Months

In March 2014, The Black Dog launched our first ever Doggie Adoption Month. During the months of March and September, The Black Dog General Stores and Outlets partner with our local animal shelters to bring adoptable dogs to our stores for a chance to find their forever home. Our General Stores have developed longstanding partnerships with local animal rescues across Cape Cod and the Islands, and from Maine to Florida.

Because at The Black Dog, we don’t just believe in second chances—we help to create them.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we’ve raised over $100,000 for local shelters and helped hundreds of dogs find the forever homes they’ve been waiting for. Every wagging tail, every joyful reunion, every life saved—it’s why we do what we do.
