If you're headed up-Island, you will find The Black Dog Café one mile west of Vineyard Haven center. You can't miss the vintage 1914 rail car that sits outside the Café.

The Café is now serving beer and wine, as well as casual dining from 11 am to 8 pm daily. Come enjoy lunch and dinner with menu options for the whole family. Follow up your meal with one of the Black Dog’s famous desserts, baked on location.

Our artisan breads are stacked on the wooden racks that line the walls. The fresh baked pies and pastries are the perfect pairing with a hot cup of coffee. The Cafés stove slowly simmers pots of chowder for early risers in search of an early lunch or grab a woofer egg sandwich for a convenient and tasty breakfast. The Black Dog Café makes fresh sandwiches – lobster rolls, turkey club, a classic BLT, tuna - all made with delicious Black Dog bread. For those who prefer lighter fare check out our variety of salad options.

If your time is precious, grab a few sandwiches and add a couple of our world-renowned Black Dog cookies or pastries. You now have the perfect picnic lunch!

The Black Dog wedding cakes are both stunningly beautiful and decadently delicious.
